OUTCOME OF A PETTY QUARREL.
By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright. (Received April 11, 8.8 a.m.) . PEKIN, April 10. The raid made by four Japanese on the United States Consul at Mukden was tho outcome_of a, quarrel between a Japanese postman and a Chinese servant employed at the Consulate.
v tit was cabled, a few days ago that four Japanese apparently out of motives of private revenge, entered the American Consulate at Mukden and attacked the Manchurian staff. The Consul-General had them arrested and conveyed to the Japanese Consulate. No apology was offered.
