The First Lord of the Admiralty, Lord Tweedmouth, speaking at a dinner o£ the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, again emphasised the necessity for maintaining Britain's command of the sea. The ideal should Be to make the Army and Navy work together and into one another's hands.
