. TAIHAPE, February 19. Strong winds have freshened the fires in the Waimasino. The flames have seized fhe Government timber reserve round Raetihi. AH,the residentshave turned out and formed a bucket brigade. JSp.for the,fire has been held in check.. The situation is alarming. The tpwn will be in great danger if the wind becomes stronger.
