At the trial of Vero Goold and his wife on a charge of having murdered Madame Levin at their lodgings in Monte Carlo, evidence was given by doctors who had examined Goold to the effect that he was a degenerate and not thoroughly responsible for his actions. Doctors who had examined the body j of the murdered woman testified that more than one person must have participated in the murder.
