DUNEDIN, August 13.

r A widow woman, named Mary Gurney, aged 75 years, who resided by herself, was found dead in her house t in Cumberland Street on Monday evening. She was in very good circumstances, but appears to have deliberately denied herself every comfort, and to have starved herself. An inquest was held to-day, and a verdict of death from voluntary starvation was returned.
