A DEFINITE OFFER.
United Press Association — By Electric Telegraph . — Copyright . LONDON, August 13. The Daily Chronicle's Ottawa correspondent reports that a definite offer has been made by a steamship company to undertake the Atlantic portion of the All Red service for half a million a year. Canada offers to contribute one-half, leaving Britain to contribute the other half, and Australasia the major portion of the amount required for an improved service in the Pacific.
