THE TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA.
LONDON, August 13.
Rhodes, Blythe, Barnes and Hutchings have accepted the invitations to visit Australia. Hirst and Lilley have declined. It is understood that they and also Hayward and Tyldesley consider tho Marylebone Club's offer of £300 for the tour insufficient to recompense them for losses incurred in business during their absence. ,
The newspapers deplore the defection of the leading batsmen. The Daily Mail suggests that Australia should offer better terms, enabling the Marylebone Club to give professionals £100.
