.Auckland, July 19

A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Robert Gibb, late hotelkeeper at Neavosville, was held to-day. The official assignee stated that the liabilities, according to the bankrupt's statement, included unsecured creditors £376 10s, and secured creditors £750. The balance of £75 found in bankrupt's possession when he was extradited, brought the total assets to £227 18s, showing a nominal shortage of £76. Gibb stated ftiat when he originally went into the Neavesville Hotel he had 3s 3d of his own, but before negotiating for the hotel he had between £30 and £40. Asked; if he had any offer to make, the debtor said he had no chance of doing anything behind four walls.
