FAMOUS PAINTING GIVEN TO ST.
PAUL'S.
United Press Association. — By Electric * Telegraph. — Copyright. (Received June 28, 9 a.m.) LONDON, June 27. Mr Charles Booth has given Holman Hunt's painting "Light of the World" to St. Paul's Cathedral.
(Mr Booth, it will be remembered, sent the painting to New Zealand for exhibition, and hundreds in New Plymouth availed themselves of the opportunity of viewing the great picture.)
