WILSON AND NOLAN'S MARKET REPORT.

We had a very big entry of poultry last Saturday. Prices were, considering the large entry, very satisfactory. We quote : —Hens, Is 2d to Is 9d ; cockerels Is Id to 2s 3d; pullets, Is 9d to 2s 7d; pure-bred Orpington and Wyandotto cockerels made from 4s to 6s; gobblers 6s to 6s 6d ; hens, 4s to 4s 6d ; ducks, Is 6d to Is 9d.

Fruit has again been scarce. Shipments to hand sold well. We quote: — Apples, cookers 2s 3d to 3s 6d ; dessert, 3s 6d to 4s 6d; pears, 4a 6d to ss; lemons, os to 7s ; oranges, 4s to 6s 6d.
