EGG-LAVING.

(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 25. The official report for the week ending March 22nd, in connection with the^ Utility Poultry Club's second egg-lay-ing competition at Lincoln College, shows that 374 eggs were laid during the week, bringing the total to' date; 51,953. The best totals for the weekV were: M. Blanch, Silver Wyandottes, 1 ; 25; Mrs K. gilby, Silver WyandottesT 23; N. D. Williams, Black Orpingtons, 21. The highest totals to date are : M.Blanch, Silver* Wyandottes, 1079; J/ Aston, Silver Wyandottes, .858; C. O'Brien, Silver Wyandottes, 813; Mrs/! Gordon, Brown Leghorns, 808.
