A STATESMANLIKE POLICY WANTED.

The Aborigines' Protection Society asked Lord Elgin (Secretary for the Colonies) to include "treatment of native races" in the agenda paper of the imperial Conference, with a view to evolving a common statesmanlike policy suitable to all colonies.
