BRITISH VICE-CONSUL STONED.

United Press Association — By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright. MOROCCO, March 23. A fanatical mob stoned the British Vice-Consul at Marrakeesh. While defending his residence, where Europeans had taken refuge, he shot one of the mob. A Frenchman accuses the Germans of exciting Moors against the French. '""Enraged at' Di\ Mauchamp's experiments in wireless telegraphy, a mob forced an. entrance to his house and stoned him to death. They also stabbed the body repeatedly. The houses of several Europeans were sacked. (The French cruiser Jeanne d'Arc has been sent to Tangier in connection with the death of the doctor.;
