ANOTHER COLLISION.
Auckland, 1 March 26.— There was another' collision in , ihe harbour this morning, between the Northern Company's steamer Kanieri and the ketch Dawn. , The latter was damaged amidships, five planks being stove in. Both boats were going astern when the collision happened. The JDawn was damaged below, the water line, and was leak- \ ing until part of the cargo was discharged alongside the wharf. Captain Norbury, of the Rarawa, is taking his annual leave. Captain Blacklock relieving him for three weoks. . The JR-otoiti, which arrived from Wellington this morning, brought transhipments ex, Turafcina from Londdn, ,ex John Hardie from New York, ex Warrimoo from Melbourne, ex Mokoia and Riverina from Sydney, ex Wimmera from Dunedin, ex Mararoa and Rotomahana from Lyttelton. ' The Takapuna arrived at 5 o'clock this morning, from Onehunga. After landing and shipping cargo she sailed at noon for. Wellington. The, Rotoiti (Capt. Robertson) arrived, at 6,40 a.m..to-4ay from Wellington via Nelspa. She proceeds to Onehunga tbis evening on arrival of the express train from, the south The Corinna sailed at s'p.m. last night for, Dunedin, via. way ports. She will not run again this season as the butter transhipments are now slackening off.
