MOKAU RIVER.
CHEAP EASTER EXCURSION.
Those who have not seen the Mokau will have a good opportunity of doing so during the Easter holidays. In conjunction with the first regatta to be held on the Mokau, excursion steamers will leave on Easter Sunday from the Breakwater (if sufficient inducement offers) and also from Waitara, returning on the Monday. Those contemplating the trip from the Breakwater are asked to leave their names a.t this office. The fares are extremely moderate — From the Breakwater 13s return, including admission to the regatta, and from Waitara 11s. Those who wish to visit the mines will have an opportunity to do so. Travellers should take a rug or two, a a the local boarding houses may be crowded. For those unable to get sleeping accommodation, a marquee will be erected. Ladies will be well provided for. Given fine weather, a really good outing is assured. The times of sailing will be notified later.
