CHEVIOT, sMarch 21. The Hon. Hall-Jones to-day opened the Tadmore-Domett section of tho Wai-para-Blei>heim railway on the Cheviot estate. The Minister defended the «ndowinent clauses of the Land Bill oti the ljnes of previous Ministerial addresses. / Ho foreshadowed a reduction of the nnmbor of railway works to bo undertaken, stating that not more than a million sterling should be borrowed annually, and tin's must be spent to the best advantage.
