As- the result of pressure^ brought by the Court party, the Cabinet is purely a Bureaucratic one. Priace Vassal tchikoff is > the new Minii'ster for Agriculture, M. Isvolsky, brother of the 'Minister for Foreign Affairs, is Procurator of the Holy Synod, -and M. Filosotoff is Controller-General. A daughter of the Russian General Printz committed suicide at Odessa under sensational circumstances. While approaching General Kaulbars, Governor of Odessa, and General Karaagozoff, apparently *" with the intention of killing them, the woman fell, and a bomb concealed in her reticule exploded. She made an endeavour to escape, but being pursued, entered a | hotel and shot herself dead with a revolver. ) London, August 11. The Times correspondent at St. Petersburg reports that 230 members of -the Duma, including M. ; Miontomtseff and Prince Dalgorukoff, are being prosecuted for signing the Viborg, manifesto.
