CIVIL.

G. Gudgeon v. A. Orr. Claim XI 10s, and costs 12s. Judgment by consent. Mr Crombie for plaintiff.

J\loa Farmers' Union v. J. Love. Claim £S 11s, for goods supplied to one J. Taylor at the reqluest of defendant. Plaintiffs were non-suited, with solicitor's costs 21s. 3lr Sponce for plaintiff and Mr C. H. Weston for defendant.

CRIiMIiN'AL.

Police y. T. Marsack. Defendant was charged with procuring liquor while l hKmig a prohibited person. He pleaded not guilty, and was defended by iMV Spence. After hearing evidence, he was convicted and fined £3, and costs 9s, in default one month in New Plymouth gaol; fine to bo paid forthwith.

Police v. R. Johnson. Defendant was charged with supplying liquor to a prohibited person, knowing him to be prohibited. Ele pleaded not guilty, and was defended by Mr Sponce. Fined £3, costs 9s; in default one month in New Plymouth gaol; fine to bo paid forthwith.

Police v. B. 3lcManus. Defendant was charged with procuring liquor while prohibited. Ho pleaded not guilty and was defended by flMr Thomson. Fined £2. and costs 9s; in default 14 days' in New Plymouth gaol; allowed seven days to pay line.

Police v. J. Bunyan. Defendant was charg-cd with supplying liquor to a prohibited person, knowing the perso^i to b^ prohibited. JTe pleaded not guilty, and was defended l^y Mr Thomson. Fined £3, and costs 7s, in defauH ono month in New Plymouth q-aol. Seven days wore allowed to pay the fine-
