ARRIVAL OF THE PREMIER.

Tho Government steamer Hin.^moa with the Premier and party on board arrived at the breakwater this niornino- from the South after a favourable and pleasant passage. The Hinemoa anchored off tlie wharf fca* sotne time and berthed at 10.30. Besides the Premier and Mrs Seddon, the party comprises Miss Seddon, the Misses May and Ruby Seddon, Mrs and Miss 'Kerr, of Gr-eymou'th, and Messrs Stevenson and Thomson, private secretaries to the Premier. Mr R,'. Cock (Mayor) and Mr Connett (Chairman of the Harbour Board) were present and welcomed the PremioF and party.' Messrs Goodacre. E. M. Smith, M.H.R., W. Alexander, and Dr. Valiritine wore also on tho wharf The formalities over a special train was requisitioned to bring the party into town, from whence they were driven to the Exhibition, along with several prominent citizens. , . On arrival at. the exhibition the Premier aivd party were provided with refreshments by the committee..
