There will be uo Addr?ss-in-Reply at the op?ning of Parliament, but tho Aovernment will asks members to proceed to business immediately. The Premier declines to make known his proposals, but it is believed that the Government will introduce a Bill making it an oftVnce for State employees to strike. The Bill, it s stated, will not have a retrospective effect. The Cabinet Committee which was appointed to deal with the situation, express satisfaction at the proarebs of events, and are confident of early success. The Government is determined to show no wavering. The Premier states that- if the signalman strike it , will not altect the running of trains. A
