Christchurch, April 28.— The following are local quotations :>—

Wheat, new.— Prime milling, Tuscan 4s, Pearl.and Hunter's 3s lOd to 4s, whole fowl feed 3s 6d at country stations. Oats, new. — Canadians 2s 4d, short feed 2s 3d, Duns 2s 2d at country stations. Beans. — 3s country stations. Peas.— Blue Prussians 5s 6d at country stations, Partridge 3s to 3s 2d, stations. Potatoes.— Derwents £3 10s to £3 12s 6d at country stations. Flour.— Millers quote roller £10 10s, pollard £5 10s, bran £4 10s. Oatmeal £14.

Onions.— £3 10s to £4. Seed.— Ryegrass, farmers' lines 3s to 3s 3d, for town machined dressed 4s to 4a 6d. Cocksfoot, farmers, dressed lines 3id to 3fd for bright seed. Cowgrass (dressed seed) Bd. Dunedin, April. 3o. — Practically no transactions in best nailling, sorts have taken place during the week, millers not being disposed to purchase at the values recently established. The market is almost hare of this class. Medium 1 quality milling and fowl feed are not eliciting much inquiry. Prim© milling, 4s to 4s 4d; medium, 3s 8d to 3s 11; whole fowl wheat, 3s 3d to 3s 6d; damaged and broken, 3s to 3s 3d, sacks extra.

Oats : The demand is still ahead of supply, especially for milling sorts of good colour. Prime milling 2s 6d to 2e 8d; good to best feed, 2s s£d to 3s 6£d; inferior to medium, 2s 2d to 2s sd, sacks extra. Barley : Feed, 2s 6d; milling, 2s 9d : malting 3s 6d ; prime Lakes, 3Si6d to 4s, sacks extra.
