EDUCATION BOARD'S SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION.
(To the Editor.) Sir, — The examination for above scholarships begins on Monday, December 2nd. The examination will be held in Courtenay-street School. New Plymouth, and in the District High School, Stratford. Seeing that these schools are not closed and the teachers of the same arc likely to have candidates for vho scholarships, it is, for obvious reasons, to bo hoped that the examiners will be instructed (1), Not to allow any persons but candidates in the examination room ; (2), Not to allow any candidate to leave tho room after the giving out of a pap-, er until the candidate has finished the paper. The latter part of No. 1 Instructions to Candidates reads, " No one will be permi*«*.sd to K«xve the room during tho first bnlf-hmir after the giving out of a i-aper." — I am, &c, COUNTRY CANDIDATE.
