Fatality at Oakura.

A SETTLER KILLED. ; An old settler, Mr James S^efton, who has resided for many years at Kaitake, in the Oakura district, was thrown from his horse on Saturday morning and killed. It is reported that the horse probably shied at some passing cyclists, and thus unseated Mr Sefton. An inquest will be held at the Oakura Hotel at 3.30 o'clock on Sunday. The deceased was a very old set-, tier in the district, and formally belonged to the 65th Regiment. He was resoected by all who knew him. H« leaves a widow and grown up family, the majority of whom are residing out of the Taranaki district.
