BOWLING.

On Tuesday afternoon the final for the Beginners' Match between Mills and Harrison was played. The latter was receiving 3 points as a handicap. After an interesting game Mills proved victorious by 25 to 20. The following rinks have been picked to play Patea on the local green on Good Friday :—: — Rundle, W. (iold water, H. McKellar Rundle, S. (skip). Cattley Allen Gold water, Ad. Hall (skip). Rundle C. Jackson Knyvett Gray (skip). Emergencies : — Jenkinson > Fookes, and Harrison. The Stratford bowling green is an accomplished fact, being bow open for play. The green is said to he an excellent one and for a first season to play remarkably well.
