There were seven competitors for the E Flat Ba*ses, which was won by T. Gray (Wanganui), 82 points; F. Singal (Wanganui), 76, 2; S. Geary (Petone), 70,3. For the B Flat Basses ther.3 were three competitors, and the result was: — C. Aldridge (Masterton), 64, 1; E. Holben (Palmerston), 61, 2 ; 8, Geary (Petone), 56, 8. Tbe result of the test piece was:— Wanganui, 1; Woodville, 2; New Plymouth City, 4 points behind, 3. Waxoanui, Mnrch 15.—The solo competitious conclud :d to-day with E flat horns. Ten co-upeted Wangauui men being first, scooad, and third, E. Gould, R. Blythe, and G. Jenson being placed in that order.
