BOER POST CAPTURED.
Received Januaiy 29, 12.45 p.m. London, Janiuuy 25. — A patrol of twenty-five police captured Marriaburg, held by a greatly superior force. |PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION. | Wanganuj, January 28.— Six troopers, Pour of the Alexandra Cavalry and two Ruanui, returned home to-day. A large md enthusiastic crowd was at the station md the men were taken to the Metropolitan Hotel where their healths were irunk *nd speeches made. Ha^tera, January 28. — Lieutenants Mitchell and Morrison, members of the First Contingent, reached Hawera on a short visit on Saturday night and received & great reception, Speeches of a flattering nature were made, after which the health of the Lieutenants was drunk. To-day at Mania, Lieutenant Mitchell nras presented with a gold watch and chain.
