| PBR VKKHB ASSOCIATION.] A HORRIBLE OUTRAGE. Dunedin, January 28. A horrible outrage was committed on a child aged three years and a half at St. Clair late on Saturday evening. Samuel Flaherty, aged 25, lured the child among the sand hills and brutally mutilated her. One Coxon caught Flaherty and took him to the police station. The child is in a critical condition. FIRE AT DANNEVIRKE. Dannevirke, January 28. The Tiratu Company's No. 2 -Sawmill Was burned down yesterday. Insurance £800 in the Phoenix Company.
