At the Haymarket on Saturday a fair number of pigs were sold ; small stores making 10s to 10s 6d, slips 7s 6d to 10s, weaners ss. Calves, 3s 6d to 4s 6d A large number of horses were sold; hacks making from 30s to £7 2s Bd, trap horses £10 10s to £12. At the mart fowls made Is 5d to Is 9d: ducks, Is 6d to Is lOd ; potatoes, Id. A quantity of sundries was disposed of at low prices. At a sale on Monday last plums made 5s 6d to 8s ; tomatoes, 5s to 8s; pearß, ss; peaches, 7s6d; oranges, 8s; cucumbers, 4s; grapes, Is. On Thursday plums made from 4s to 7s; tomatoes (over-ripe), 3s to 5s ; apples, 2s 8d ; cucumbers, 3b 6d. Cattle.— At Waiwakaiho on Tuesday there was a small muster of stock.
