MESSRS BEWLEY AND GRIFFITH'S SHARE REPORT.
Messrs Bewley and Griffith* report as follows: — There have been no marked features in the sharemarket during the past week, prices generally being firmly maintained in investment stocks.
There has been a very high river on the. Molynenx, with consequent suspension of dredging operations. The majority of the dredges in other parts have only resumed work this week, so returns are not yet available. - On the West Coast the Nelson Creek dredge has got 21oz for the week from old ground, and will still have some ten days working before she properly opens out her ground. As she is working close to the upper boundary of the Pactolus Company, her work is proving that Company's ground, and will have a marked effect on their market value.
We; report sales Sash and Door Company at £6 2s 6d with further sellers at par, at which price they should be an excellent investment. Sales of Monowai at 2s 9d. Auckland mining shares generally show reduced prices.
