Messrs Wyllie, Stott" &-Co. report holding a very satisfactory clearing sale for Mr H. Beaven, of Morangi; there vms a good attendance, and bidding was brisk. Fifty-three dairy cows averaged L 5 08 6d, fat lambs 10s sd, ewes and lambs (all coated) 10s 3d. wethers 12s 7d, light draught mare (aged) LlO, light draught geldjng L2B, trap horse L2O, calves 31s, 18-months hoifers L 3 11s 6d, bulls L 4 Is and L 4 17s 6d. Implements and household' effects made good prices. At Waitara on January 15th calvejs sold from 26s 6d to 375, 18-months steers L 3 Is 6d, do heifers L 2 12s 6d to L 2 14s, springing heifers L 3 6s to L 4 7s, do cows L 5, cows and calves L 4 Is to L 4 3s 6d, fat cows L 4 7s to L 4 15s, bulls L 3 11s to L 4, stags L 3 15s to L 4 12s 6d, fat ewes 12s 4d, store ewes 9s 9d to 9s lOd, wethers- 10s 9d, small lambs 6s Bd, culls 3s Id, rams 15s. At our Urenui sale on Monday calves sold from 30s to 355, 18-months L 3 9s, cows and calves L 3 17s 6d, springers L3^ 7s 6d, pony 405..
