The Boera, who Hid in wait, fired. • Captain Stewart, of the Rifle Brigade, hearing an attack, hastened with 40 men to ' support Captain Paget. Captftin Stewart was killed, and Captain Paget dangerously wounded. Six others were wounded, and eleven captured.
