Received August 17, 11.15 p.m. Losdon', .August 16. — McLeod was dismissed by a bailer from Rhodes. His innings, which occupied three hours, was a chanceless one, and Li* score included 10 fourers. Noble, showing excdllent defence, played a very patient innings. He hit 13 fourers. Trumper was magnificently taken by Rhodes off his own bowling. The second wicket fell at 208, 3rd ah 224, 4th at 228, sth at 243.
