OPENING OF SECOND SBSSION. [I'ER PUEBS ASSOCIATION.] Sydkev, Septemher 2. — The second susaion of the Federal Convention opened at noon. Sir G. Turner and two other Victorian delegates do not arrive till to-morrow. Th« President roporteJ having presented, an address from the Adelaide Convention to the Queen, at Windsor, ou his r«cent visit to England. Ths Quten, in reply, thanked the Convention for the congratulations^ and wished success to the Federal movement. The senior members of cv h delegation 1 laid on the table tho amendments made in the Commonwealth Bill by the respective Legislatures. After several committees had been formally appointed the Convention adjourned till noon to morrow. Next week they meet at 10 in the < morning daily, Saturday and Sunday excepted.
