The rebellious tribesmen murdered and robbed nativo levies balding the Gazabundost Post. A British cavalry force is pursuing the murderers. Calcutta, September 2. — The column under Colonel Gordon safely traversed the Kohat Pass. A force undor Lieut.-Colonel G. L, B. Richardson , commandant of the 18th Bengal Lancers, proceeds to Kurron, and while on' the march will leave reinforcements strengthening the Samana forts. Colonel Blood reports the defences of Chakdara insufficient, and thot the enemy, who are under cover, are able to command the fort. Beports received from Madras state that thy outbreak which occurred at Malabar was due to fanatic tnollah?, but that the rising is not at present of a serious character. Constantinople, September 2. — The Sultan has sent numerous presents to the Ameer of Afghanistan.
