SUPPOSED SUICIDE.

Auckland, August 29. Allan Scott, of Paterangi, was foand hanged on a tree on his farm. SHOOTING FATALITY. Dunedin, August 31. A young man named Alexandra Munro, a shepherd at Traquian Station, beyond Outrara, accidentally 6hot himself yesterday morning. He had laid a revolver on the bed, and in whisking the clothes off throw it on the floor. One of the chambers was discharged, and lodged a ball i» his groin. Medical aid was procured, and Munro was removed to Dunedin, but died in the evening. BREACH OF LICENSING LAWS. Invercargill, August 29. Two prohibited persons were fined £5 each for being on licensed premises. Thos. Whittaker, licenses, was also charged with supplying them, but said he did not know they were prohibited, and the magistrate dismissed the case.
