MESSRS WYLLIE & HIGNETT'S REPORT.
Jlessbb Wyllie & Hionett report: — Our usual sale was held in the Waitara yards on Tuesday last, and was well attended, buyers being in force. The yards were taxed to hold the large number of cattle that came forward. Bidding for young cattle was good at late quotations. Store cows and grown bullocks were well competed for. With the exception of a few pens of cattle all changed hands. We quote : Calves, small, 15s to 21s ; good, 24s to 27s 6d ; yearlings, 32s to 38s ; 18 months, mised, 42s to 50s ; 2-year steers, GOs to 62s ; 2} year steers, 733 ; 3 year steers, 85s 6d ; 15 to 18 months steers, 42s to 49» ; store cows, medium, 41s to 51s ; store cows, I,'ood, 57s Gd to GOs ; cows in milk, 60s to 77s tid ; springing cows, 72s 6cl to 80s ; springing heifers, 65s to 80s ; fat cows, 82s 6d to 87a ; bulls, 44s to 51s. We also report having sold Mr T. Charles' farm (103 acres), Tikorangi, to Mr 8. Nicnoils.
