ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting was held at noon. Mr Ha worth was voted to the chair. Mr Peters moved, that Mr J. Bollringer bo r<--elected chairman. Mr Monkhouso soconded the motion. Mr Ha worth spoke in support of tho motion, which was tben carried. Mr J. Beilringor returned tlmnks for the honor that had boon accorded him. He said he would do his best as in tho past to fill the position in a component manner. Mr C. A. Budge, of Hawera, notified by wire that tho representatives for Hawera County wore Messrs T. Quin, J. Wemyss, Scott, and J. R. Stewart. These members, with Mr Major, of Hawera Borough, were appointed a Houso Committee for tho Hawera Hospital. The meeting day ot the Board was fixed as before' viz., tho third Monday in the mouth. Mr H. L. Robinson, Chairman of the Westland Board, waited on the Council for the purpose of learning some information in respect to the charitablo aid system in vogue in tho Taranaki district. The Chairman, and Messrs Corkill, Peters, and Connett wero appointed a House Committee for the town. Votes of thanks were accorded tho Chairman and House Committee for services during the past year. The Board adjourned.
