The following tenders were accepted for supplies at the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board meeting this (Wednesday) morning : — Groceries, W. Walton ; bread, A. Lealaud ; meat, W. Barnard ; milk, E. Marfell ; wines, spirits, and cordials, Goldwater Bros. ; drapery, Excelsior Drapery Co. ; coal, G. J. Ward ; firewood, J. Ward ; printing, J. Ilooker. Charitable Aid : Groceries, W. Walton ; bre*d, 11. Jtevell ; meat, W. Bar nurd ; milk, E. Marfell ; firewood, Freeth Bros. ; 'coal, G. J Ward : undertaking, M. Clow. Hawera Hospital. — Groceries, J. Nichols ; bread, J. Connell ; meat, W. Lucena ; milk, C. Jephson ; firewood, H, Soutbey ; coal, H. Southey ; draper)', held over pending samples coming to hand ; undertaking, H. A. Arthur. — The Chairman explained that the tender for drugs had been omitted in the advertising. — It was decided to advertise for tenders, Ahich will bo dealt with by the House Committee.
