NEW PLYMOUTH LICENSING COMMITTEE.
THIS l>/i.V. Tins quarterly meeting was hold on "Wednesday. Present : Messrs W. Stuart, S.M. (chairman), W. Bayly, H. Westou, D. Berry, and L. Sarten. Transfers were granted as follows :—: — Mr S. Nichol to Mr Fair weather, of Bridge Hotel, Waitara ; Mr Roy for the parties. Mr Shepherd to Mr Tate, of the Taranaki Hotel ; Mr Samuel for the parties. Mr Berry said that he saw by the police report that the Moturoa Hotel was only fairly conducted. — Inspector Thomson said that the police could not report otherwise, and thoy were now making further enquiries in connection with tho matter.— Mr Samuel, speaking as solicitor for the owner of the property, said that he would draw the owner's attention to the matter. This concluded the business.

Mean amount of Cloud — 5.5.
