BREAKING AND ENTERING.
AccKHNr, December 2. Henry Duo, a young man, was committed on a charge of breakiug aui entering the premises of William Miller, bootmaker, liigh-street. FATAL ACCIDENT. William Cinniinan, of the scovr Shamrock, while voluntarily repairing the rigging when tho scow was off Cape Colville, accidentally fell off the rigging to the deuk (54ft), and was instantaneously killed. He was 45 years of age, a native of Scotland, and leaves a widow. He had been complaining oi heart disease aud rushing of blood to his head. MINING RETURNS. Waihi declares a dividend of 2s per share. The Vtay Queen monthly returns show 7350z of gold from 921 loads of quartz. The value of the gold is £2048.
