Gkeat Northern Steeplechase, of 400 soys ; three miles and a-half.—Liber-ator, list 111 b, 1 ; Fishmonger, 9st 101 b, 2 ; Norton, 12st 101 b, 3. Also started ; Bombardier, Belle, Aorere, Union Jack, Scaltheen, Nero, and Deceiver. Liberator aud Union Jack alternately led for the first three miles, when the latter fell away, and Belle aud Fishmonger ran to the frontf. Belle fell at the post and rails on the hill, aud the issue was loft to be determined by Liberator and Fishmonger. Tha former nover gave his opponent a chance, and, coming away in tha straight, finished strong, winning easily by three lengths. Time, Binin 57sec. There were 1548 investors on the machine, 407 being on the winner, and the dividends were £'6 5a and £3 7s. Handicap Hu nous Rack. — Donald McKinnon, 1 ; Warrior, 2 ; Bonovoree, 3. Won easily by three lengths. No time taken. Dividends, £6 10a and £10 3s. Tally-Ho Steeplechase. — Chj3tor, 1 ; Nero, 2 ; Kildare, 3. Won comfortably by three lengths. Time, Gmin 50sec. DiTidoiids, £10 and £17 10a. Second Winter Welter Handicap. — Anita, 1 ; The Sharper, 2 ; The Dancer, 3. Won easily. Time, lniin 38aec. The dmdends wore £31 6a and £18 18s.
