Liberator aud Union Jack alternately led for the first three miles, when the latter fell away, and Belle aud Fishmonger ran to the frontf. Belle fell at the post and rails on the hill, aud the issue was loft to be determined by Liberator and Fishmonger. Tha former nover gave his opponent a chance, and, coming away in tha straight, finished strong, winning easily by three lengths. Time, Binin 57sec. There were 1548 investors on the machine, 407 being on the winner, and the dividends were £'6 5a and £3 7s. Handicap Hu nous Rack. — Donald McKinnon, 1 ; Warrior, 2 ; Bonovoree, 3.
