MESSRS BUDGE & GOOD'S REPORT. Messes Budge & Good report : We held our annual sheep fair on the 10th February. There was a large entiy of all classes of sheep. The sale was very dull at the hammer, but with one or invo exceptions every lot changed hands before leaving the yards, the vendors accepting the reduced prices. "We quote: full mouthed ewes 3s 7d to os, fresh full month 7s, 2-tooth ewes pure bred 13s. 2tooth wethers 8s 3d, fat 10s, fat ewes 8s 3d, shorn lambs 3s to 4s, woolly 5s 4d to Gs. Mr W. B. Pearce's rams 255; Mr Akcrs' Romney rams 1J guinea.. At Kaponga on the 23rd there was a fair muster of stock, which sold readily at reduced prices. At Manaia on the 27th a large number of stock was brought forward, bnt cattle were dull of sale, consequently a few pens were unsold. We quote at Kaponga 2-year-old steers 76s 6d to 80s ; 12 to 18 months steers 545, calves 355, weaners 24s to 30s, store cows 57s Gd to 645, 2-ycar-old heifers 54s to 595, 12 to 18 months heifers 43s 6d, cows and calves SOs to S4s. At Manaia 2-year-old steers 82s, 18 months to 2-year-old steers 60s to 735, 12 months steers 40s, store cows 60s, springing" heifers 75s to 82s 6d, cows and calves 70s to 755, fat cows 80s to 83s, lambs, woolly, 5s Sd.
