This closed tbe interview ; by-and-bye tbe dealer's drayß came along and the potatoes were taken to the railway station and aold for £6 per ton. There tire now two men in the district No. 1 conznitulates himself on his -smartness in making £3 per ton for carting a lot of potatoes to the nearest ruilway station ; No. 2 is going about kicking himself that he did not know that the potato market had snadd such a big jump.
