HIGH SCHOOL BOARD OF GOVERNORS.
The High School Board of Governors met oq Thursday. Present : Messrs Halcombe (chairman), McDiarmid, Roy, C F. Richmond, DrHutchinson, and Hon Mr Kelly. New Arrangements. — The Board , ,cpn Biderod the question of having separate classes for boys and girls, and after die cußsion it was decided to have separate clasßes, the new arrangement to take effect in tho first quarter of the now y-ar In consequence of this it was decided to dispense with the services of tho second, master, Mr Kitchinguian, and to procure the services of a junior master at a lower, salury, and an additional female teacher.' ' ■ Monthly Meetings.— On Mr Richmond's motion it was resolved to revert to the system of holding monthly meetings O.f the Board. '• ' - -• , "■* The Board adjourned. - i '. '
