The promoters of Thursday night's entertainment sincerely hope that the public of New Plymouth will Bhow appreciation of their efforts by one and all patronising their concert. We would draw the attention of oar readers to the programme, every item on which is high class. The prices of admission are most popular, and aro surely within everyone's means. If the night should prove fine there is surely everything to induce people to attend, apart from the object for which the entertainment has been got up. The promoters have been actuated solely by the earnest wish to help tbe Recreation Grounds io their present state of impocuniosity. With this end in view they have gone to endlesß trouble to secure the help of all the combined talent of New Plymouth, in the hope that the citizens of this town will do their share (which cannot fail to be a very agreeable one) in purchasing tickets and uttending tho concert.
