WEEKLY AUCTION REPORT. Messrs Vickers & Stevens report that on Wednesday the yards at Inglewood were well filled with stock. There was a good attendance of buyers, and all descriptions of stock were well competed for. The following are the prices obtained : — Calves from 29s to 35a, yearlings, £2 to £2 sa, 15 to 18-raonths £2 10s to £2 13s 6d, 2-year-old steers £3 10s to £3 19s, cows and heifers close on calving £3 10b to £5 ss, backward do £2 10s to £4 ss, hoggets 11s, hacks £2 2s 6d to £3 12s 6d. They are now taking entries for the Inglewood horse fair.

THE EGMONT FARMERS' UNION (Limited) REPORT. On Wednesday, the 16th inst., we held our usual sale of stock at Manaia. Tho entries of cattle in the first instance weie very large, but considerably more than double tho number advertised came forward for sale, and over and above these several large lines bad to be turned away owing to the want of yarding accommodation. The attendance was fair, bidding being not quite so brisk as latterly, though every pen was fairly competed for, but the reserves in many instances , were not reached, although a fair amount of business was done before the stock left the yards. We quote prices as under : — Fat and forward bullocks £5 6s to £5 13s, 2£ to 3year old steers £4 10s to £4 195, 18-months to 2-year-old do £2 17s 6d to £3 Ba, yearHngß and weaners £1 13s 6d to £1 19s, calves £1 Is to £1 12s 6d, fat cows and heifers £3 16s to £4 11s, cows in calf £3 13b to £4 10s 2 to 2^-year-old heifers £2 17s to £3 14b, 18-months-old do £2 to £2 ss.
