TO THE EUITOB. Sir, — In your list of prizes given for fruit at the Jubilee Produce Show, you mention, "Burgess took first for lemons, and J. Burgess for basket of fruit either grown or imported." Will you allow vie to state that I took first prize for each, and that all were grown at Warca. Most of the apples were seedlings, raised by myflelf, and selected from about a hundred so raised. My chief object in exhibiting was to show that fruit could be grown here, bo if you can find space for tho above you •will oblige. — I am, &c, J Burgess.
