DEFINITION OF HOUSEHOLDER.
TO THE EDITOB. Sib, — The Taranaki Education Board at their last meeting, resolved, re my enquiry aa to the definition of householder, to get their solicitor's (Mr.Govetfc's) opinion on the matter, which they have done. I observe by the Auckland Herald of April 11th that the Wellington Education Board has taken their solicitors' opinion also on the Bame subject, viz., Messrs Brandon, Hislop, & Brandon, who give just the opposite opinion to what Mr Govett gave the Taranaki Education Board. After that who ■will not say lawyers differ.— l am, &c, G. W. Gane. Oaonui.
