[PKB PBBBB ASSOCIATION. | Wellington, September 19. — This morning the crew of the Stormbird gave 24 hours' notice of their intention to leave the vessel. On the arrival of the Kahu this morning from Auckland and the East Coast, the crew were called out, although the steamer had gone alongside the breastwork to unload her cargo of potatoes, the Seamen's Union holding that although that was neutral ground, in all likelihood the cargo would be carted by the free labour men. On hearing this the Captain at once took the vessel round to Queen's wharf, and the Union Company offered to fill the places of the men who had given notice. FBEE LABOUR COAL LUMPERS. A movement is on foot form Coal Lumpers Union, which is not to be affiliated to any other labor body. RAILWAY COMMISSIONERS' WARNING. Dunedin, September 19. — This morning, Newton, the President of -the Dunedin branch of the Railway Servants' Society, was called before Mr Grant, traffic manager, who read a telegram from the Commissioners accusing Newton of delivering a speech calculated to cause disobedience and trouble among the men, and directing that Newton must undertake unreservedly to obey the rules and abstain from inciting the men to disorder, or leave the service. Newton said he did not think his speech incited the men, but undertook not to further incite them, but would stick to his Union. Mr Grant said he would communicate the answer to the Commissioners.
