JBRRARD RECOVERING. Wellington, September 19, Jerrard, who fell down the hatch of the h.s. Australia is improving, and there is every prospect of his recovery. COLONIAL BANK REPORT. Dunedin, September 19. The Colonial Bank's nei profit for the half year amounts to £16,248 8s lOd. After adding the balance of last year, and deducting the tax on note circulation, and property tax, there is available £17,976 9s Bd. The directors recommend the payment of the customary 7 per cent, dividend, absorbing £14,000.
